Annie is a 2022 AQHA dun mare currently in training with a respected local barrel trainer and is progressing very well. She is a runner-type mare with plenty of athleticism and is being brought along with the barrel pen in mind.

She is by FQHR Rio Valentino, a son of Rio Blue Badger and out of FQHR Mali Jo, bringing in Rio Valentino and McKeag bloodlines. On the bottom side, Annie is out of GD Blackburns Fairy, by Blackburns Four Dee, giving her a pedigree with plenty of old-style ranch and performance breeding behind her.

If Annie isn't spoken for by November, she will begin her futurity year. She would be a nice option for someone looking for a young mare that already has a good start and can continue progressing toward the barrel pen.

She does have cosmetic scars on her neck and flank from a previous mountain lion encounter, but they do not affect her soundness or ability to perform. She also isn't a fan of needles and needs stocks for injections.

Annie has a lot going for her between her breeding, athleticism, and the foundation being put on her now.
